Improvement to EEDIAG,TEST,LIST=DETAIL command

The D NET,EEDIAG,TEST command with LIST=DETAIL sets an incrementing TTL to provide a list of routers in the path to the end-point similar to the IP traceroute command. It appears that the current code stops incrementing the TTL count if a router in the path responds with an ICMP message that isn't a type 11, code 0 (Time Exceeded, Time To Live
exceeded in transit) after which it issues the message: IST2135I CONNECTIVITY UNSUCCESSFUL...
The problem is that the same command with LIST=SUMMARY (the so-called firewall friendly version of the EEDIAG,TEST command) works. If the LIST=DETAIL code was changed and a TTL count added like IP traceroute's MAX option, the LIST=DETAIL form of the command would also work.

This item is unlikely to be given high enough priority to be placed into product plan.

After a EEVERIFY failure, why not ask the operator to do the LIST=SUMMARY form of the command instead of the LIST=DETAIL. This would still verify endpoint reachability in the event of a glitch. If that fails, then they would no further investigation is needed.
