In my opinion the message IFA849I ENVIRONMENT ERROR ... should be of type error. A job should end with RC 8 and not 4, because it is an error and not an information the utility IFASMFDL gives. So please change it to IFA849E and change the behavior...

RTM fencing storage for CANCEL command per TS014858949

Per TS014858949, we are requesting RTM fencing off a piece of storage to be able to issue the CANCEL command when memory is an issue. This sounds practical and safe to implement, and we could benefit from such an improvement.
