Need to send SNMP traps about CEC events to customer's monitiring solution

My customer would like monitor the zSeries CECs hardware with SNMP Traps, so that when any HW error is detected by the CEC/Support Element an SNMP Trap is sent to their monitoring solution. I opened another similar request RFE ID 119355 but it was...

Disabling touchpad of HMC Table Top KMM

IODF IPL attributes usage visible to HMC and HCD

Especially with new machines and newcomers, the idea for having this visible when used would create less confusion about whether they are active. You already have this display on image profile LOAD section, so why not to use it also on SE and HMC ...

Display Crypto S/N in Cryptos panel

In z/OS, ICSF provides the crypto S/N. When we need to toggle the Crypto CHP from the SE, it is helpful to have the S/N, so we can correlate it to the z/OS ICSF Crypto # to ensure we have the correct Crypto. For example:D ICSF,CARDS CSFM668I 09.04...

Add filtering for the HMC/HMA hardware messages to drop the red-herrings

CBU acctivation date when turning off a CBU

when turning off a CBU with TEMPCAP the HWI_CBUACTIVE date does not seem to clear when everything is reset. If I issue a second TEMPCAP off the value does clear. IBM says to ignore that value. I think there's a bug if it clears when I issue the co...

do not depricte oocod/cbu status from CPC

IBM has told me that they plan to deprecate the items that allow us to check the CBU/OOCOD status without checking the individual records. This is a really bad idea. It will greatly complicate code if we have to check all the available records. I ...

Avoid a user who needs to restart an lpar from operating on the CPC

If a user who has to do actions against some LPAR objects (as "Load", "Activate" or "Deactivate") has access to object "CPC" can do any of this actions against the whole CPC.
