Remote HMC/SE access on machine swaps

We have a problem performing HMC/SE functions, when a new processor has been installed, prior to it being swapped. We need to get information (remotely) from the old processor, on to the new processor, and also be able to remotely load the new IOCP file.

When the new machine to be swapped is installed, it is only connected to one HMC. The new processor is not on our production network, as it will be once the swap occurs. This forces us to be physically at the HMC connected to a new machine to perform our work.

It would be great if there was a way we could read/write to a location on the HMC, accessible from any SE attached, that would fix our situation. We can remotely get to the HMC that is connected to the SE on the new processor.

To summarize, our tech staff is not local where the HMCs are located. We connect to the HMC via our network, which eliminates our ability to copy profiles/OSA-ICC sessions off the old processor on to the new processor without physically being able to pop in a thumb drive in the HMC connected to both processors. We need the ability to "remote into" the HMC, and be able to store the IOCP info (upload), and also to download the various PROFILES and OSA-=ICC configs, so they can be copied to the new processor; all done remotely.
We have the ability to remote to the HMCs, however, the HMCs do not allow offloading information without going to a thumb drive.
