DDVIPA message when target app is no longer available-down

We'd like z/OS TCPIP to issue a message when a target app for a DDVIPA - previously available -up - goes down. We'd like to better monitor DDVIPA target apps and get notified.

There is a 'netstat -O' or 'netstat VDPT' command that will display the list of targets and whether they are available. For example:

    Dest: 9.67.170.215..8000
    DestXCF: 9.67.140.41
TotalConn: 0000000000 Rdy: 001 WLM: 08 TSR: 100 <-- application is available because the ready count is non-zero
    DistMethod: BaseWLM
    Flg:
    Dest: 9.67.170.215..8000
    DestXCF: 9.67.140.42
TotalConn: 0000000000 Rdy: 000 WLM: 00 TSR: 100 <-- application is not available because the ready count is zero

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - z Systems Software
    Product - z/OS Communications Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere

    Product - z/OS Communications Server
