Provided affinity support on the Port statement similar to the Bind option.

This question started this request:
You indicate that the support to create DVIPA with affinity is provided on
• Socket APIs (SIOCSVIPA and SIOCSVIPA6 IOCTLs)
• MODDVIPA utility program

Will you be providing it also on the Port statement similar to the Bind option? See example below. If the two start tasks (TASK1 & TASK2) bind to listen port 57006 with ANYADDR, that bind will activate the listed DVIPA but will change the bind to the listed DVIPA so it is no longer bound to ANYADDR. But if you add a new keyword such as Affinity to this Port statements, this would allow the bind to activate the listed DVIPA plus establish affinity with the DVIPA for that port with the appropriate task. At the same time leave the socket still bound to ANYADDR for each task. This would allow existing socket applications to use this new function with no program changes or require them to use the MODDVIPA utility program. There are times where the IPaddress settings are being done within TCPIP and not the application or application JCL.

PORT 57006 TCP TASK1 SHAREPORT BIND 10.97.251.62
PORT 57006 TCP TASK2 SHAREPORT BIND 10.97.251.63
