When setting up OAM Objects in ISMF for the first time, I found the HELP panels lacking in detail. They only provide a brief description that uses the name GROUP00.
After setting up OAM and working with it for a few weeks, I was able to see that GROUP00 was an example and not the way it had to be coded.
The Help panels could be enhanced to use phrase like -
So long as the DB2 Table and the ISMF OBJECT name are the same, this can be called anything.
GROUP00 is an example of a name. It does not have to be called that, it can fit a naming standard so long as the DB2 table and the OBJECT name match
Provide the identification of a Manual where more comprehensive details can be found.
