Debugging this required opening a case to IBM level2, setting several slips to debug. In this scenario, the resolution was to specify additional SMF record types in the SMF input parms, i.e. we had TYPE(0:255), we needed to specify TYPE(0:2047). This was not obvious from any of the messages. We need to improve this diagnostic experience.
