z/OSMF rest service - Allow user specified delimiters while retrieving a specific range of data using X-IBM-Record-Range

We are trying to retrieve certain number of records from UNIX file which is in EBCDIC format using the below z/OSMF API using X-IBM-Record-Range as 0-100. But the API seem to retrieve all records in-spite of the set limit using X-IBM-Record-Range.

GET /zosmf/restfiles/fs/<filepath-name>

Our ZFS EBCDIC data has the ENDLINE characters are x'0D25'. Since X-IBM-Record-Range check for newline characters on the EBCDIC files for record delimiters is done on the 'x15' character, we are unable to receive the expected results.

The z/OSMF rest service should be flexible enough to allow users to specify delimiters of their choice while using X-IBM-Record-Range for data range selection.
