Relief for High CPU with KDFAES Password Encryption

After activation of KDFAES Password encryption, high CPU usage occurs in IRRMXPW0. APAR OA50748 was created to provide relief for the increased overhead. However, VTAM LOGON to IMS applications using different LUNAME/LTERMs and PASSTICKETs instead of PASSWORD can not take advantage of APAR because cached ACEE will always be different.
We are looking to keep cached ACEE's in VLF for at least 48 hours and we need to perform PASSTICKET evaluation before PASSWORD validation.
