Change path to NCA database in z/OSMF

It should be possible to use the same database from the NCA-plugin from different z/OSMF Instances. So we could define a HA-environment for z/OSMF (running 2 instances)

Can you give some more information about the type of failover environment you are looking to create? Also are there any other z/OSMF plug-ins besides NCA that you want to be able to fail over?

FYI z/OSMF defaults to use the /global mount point for its file system. This mount point is available throughout the sysplex, so failover within the sysplex already works... when z/OSMF fails you can start another one in the same sysplex on the same file system. However this is only an active/standby configuration, not active/active... only one z/OSMF at a time can be using the z/OSMF file system under /global.

If you are looking for a high availability solution that has scope beyond the sysplex, you can change the USER_DIR parameter in IZUPRMxx to have z/OSMF use any other file system, including one on a shared volume. You can also override USER_DIR in the IZUSVR1 job.
