Share PDSE cross sysplex

Enhancement of PDSEs to be able to be shared cross sysplex. Currently, PDSE could not be shared outside a SYSPLEX.

Or possibly IBM could remove the bit that forces us to have PDSEs out of Cobol V6? I believe that was done with PL/1, by providing a compile option. Could the same thing be done with Cobol?

This PDSE thing is a very major stumbling block for many of your clients.

Hello, checking back on this very desirable enhancement request and hoping to find that it is in-progress as the PDSE requirement when upgrading from Enterprise COBOL 4.2 to 5+, 6.3 for us, presents significant work with our dozens of SCM build processes and between 1100-1200 or so COBOL load libraries, many of which are shared across sysplexes.
