RELATED IDEAS

Full FTP Support for PDSE

FTP should support the transfer of PDS to a PDSE load library. There is no potential loss of data to be incurred from this in the way a PDSE to a PDS would be impacted. Currently this is not supported.

    This RFE lifts and eliminates a significant functional restriction that makes FTP unusable across the sysplex - both locally and geographically dispersed - when the target DSORG of a FTP operation may be unknown to the originator.

    Please make sure that PDSE V2 Member Generations are fully supported in any implementation.
