Today, our shop already performs a form of deployment that isn't very conducive to migrating to utilizing z/OSMF deployments. This is the current maintenance deployment process that is utilized:
Maintenance Libraries (MAINT. HLQ & CSI-tlibs-dlibs) >> Production Libraries (PROD. HLQ & tlibs only)
This means that when we attempt a z/OSMF deployment today through the software management interface we are unable to generate the deployment jobs for moving to the production libraries as those SYS3. datasets already exist when trying to create a CSI with tlibs only to deploy maintenance to.
The purpose of this RFE is to add some form of capability for us to create that Production CSI with tlib references alone based on the Maintenance CSI so that customers would be able to migrate to the capability of utilizing the z/OSMF deployment process with CSI replacement instead of CSI creation to perform this.
