This is the public portal for all IBM Z Hardware and Operating System related offerings. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

The fundamental question we are asking is to confirm what IBM Krause from Germany (zIIP SMT1 vs SMT2 SME) mentioned that “Local Lock Suspension” is recorded in zIIP on CP Metric which indicates that that the workload in zIIP on CP is zIIP eligible workloads that can run on the zIIP engines.
However, Krause mentioned that there is an exception that “Local Lock Suspension” although recorded in zIIP on CP is in fact not eligible to run on zIIP engines and can only run on GP.
Fidelity would like confirmation that this understanding is correct.
And if validated and confirmed the understanding above is correct then why is “local lock suspension” recorded and reported in zIIP on CP?
If the above is true then can IBM consider moving local lock suspension out of zIIP on CP reporting as that provides an inaccurate readout on true zIIP eligible workloads overflowing to GP.
Hopefully, this clarifies the reason for this IBM Ticket and appreciate your help on the above questions.
