ISPF Point-and-shoot fields are of great help to ISPF users. They enable the user to conveniently "shoot" commands while being with the cursor in the context of the action.
Point-and-shoot fields comes with another great User Setting: Tab to point-and-shoot fields! Using option 0 (Settings) in ISPF allows to set the tab key to move the cursor to point-and-shoot fields. Jointly, Point-and-shoot fields and Tab to point-and-shoot fields are amazing features of ISPF!
This idea is to further extend ISPF to enable protection of point-and-shoot fields, specifically, it is now the case that when setting the ISPF Setting "/ Tab to point-and-shoot fields", point-and-shoot become editable. It would be great is point-and-shoot fields remain uneditable even when the "Tab" setting is enabled.

ISPF is widely used by mainframes around the world and Point-and-shoot fields substantially improves the ISPF user experience. I look forwad to ear from ISPF development team on how Point-and-shoot fields will evolve
