ISPF Using Shared personal lists

Our customer wants to use "Shared personal lists" so all users have
a single source for often used data sets F.E.
AAA.DFP.JOB.CNTL.
BBB.TSO.JOB.CNTL
CCC.COVER.LETTERS.TXT
and so on.
The idea is to have a company wide list of 20-30 data sets which
contain the most often used docs and utilities which is maintained
in one place and available to every user.
In z/OS ISPF User's Guide Vol I ( SC19-3627-00), Chapter 'Shared
personal lists' is written:
"..You can open a shared list and use it; ..."
But every user has to copy these shared lists to his own lists, so when a new version would be available, every user has to get active to be able to use them.
