SRCHFOR cmd within ISRDDN ( DDLIST ) utility

It seems to me that SRCHFOR cmd within ISRDDN utility could be helpful.

    Roman,

You can already do this in DDLIST. Enter B, E, or V next to the first dataset in the concatenation, then you can issue your SRCHFOR against the member list for the concatenated files. I do this for PARMLIB all the time, every day.

This is a feature that would be extremely useful. Just as it is used in ISPF 3.4 (DSLIST) one can consider ISRDDN to be just another list of datasets that need to be managed.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - z Systems Software
    Product - z/OS
    Component - ISPF

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - z Systems Software
    Product - ISPF
    Component - ISPF
