This is the public portal for all IBM Z Hardware and Operating System related offerings. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Before this, SVC DUMP generation from an address space has caused WLM time-out under our WebSphere Application Servers. SVC DUMPs generated tend to grow its size as customer system environments expand. Once SVC DUMP is generated, DUMPSRV puts DUMP data into its own DATASPACE and then we have heavy paging because of page-in for preparing rooms for SVC DUMP. It takes longer than WLM time-out value to generate SVC DUMP. An application under WebSphere Application servers with lower priority than SVC DUMP generation results in WLM time-out. We can not reduce WLM time-out value.
Basically we add more real storage for page-out address spaces and DATASPACE for SVC DUMP, but added real storage is used by another applications. AFQ(Available frame Queue) is not enough for sudden SVC DUMP generation.
We have one of ideas that dedicated real storage area for DATASPACE of DUMPSRV would be reserved for sure in case SVC DUMP is generated.
