This is the public portal for all IBM Z Hardware and Operating System related offerings. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

The V2R3 z/OSMF Documentation describing the IZUPRMxx member in SYS1.PARMLIB ought to follow the same layout conventions found in the MVS Initialization Reference publication.
It is also unclear from the documentation what the default behavior is if the customer codes a IZUPRM00 member. Will the system automatically process the IZUPRM00 member if the IZU= statement is NOT coded in IEASYSxx. It looks like if the IZU= statement is not present, no IZUPRMxx member is processed, and an attempt will be made start z/OSMF using system defaults. This could be made a little clearer.
It is also unclear as to what started procs the system will be using to start the z/OSMF system. My assumption is IZUANG1 and IZUSVR1, but this needs to be clearly stated, to help in determining if the site should use the AUTOSTART feature. Some sites may use a different started proc name convention.

If we're supposed to take z/OSMF seriously, we need IBM to take it serious too.
Documentation of this is crusial.
