Design requirement to have DFSMSdss check the status of the GDS once the COPY is completed to ensure that the status has not changed from the status it had prior to the target being allocated.

Since the DFSMSdss stop started after the GDS was created by creating job, the GDS is in a deferred state at that time. DFSMSdss obtains the source VVR information during filtering processing to determine which data sets it needs to process. This is done before any target data sets are allocated and also before actually copying any source data sets to the targets. Since TGTGDS(SOURCE) is specified, once we have allocated the target, we will use the deferred status once the copy is complete. This is the current design.
