RELATED IDEAS

Underlying reason for save failure is written to the log but not displayed to the user

When saving a file/member for a workflow step (such as saving JCL for a workflow step), the underlying error is hidden from the user. The user must go to IZUG0.log to find the underlying reason. It would be good if the error dialog presented to the customer presented the information.

For example, IZUG0.log may contain:

write() failed; EDC5003I Truncation of a record occurred during an I/O
operation.

Today the dialog only states there was a problem, but doesn't indicate why. It should include the above details.
