It will be useful, the standard PERMIT command syntax include a WHEN clause for time-based conditions.

Use Case 1: Restricting Access During Business Hours

Scenario 1: A company wants to restrict certain administrative commands during business hours to prevent unauthorized changes while employees are working.

Example:

 PERMIT EZB.INITSTACK.SYSA.TCPIP CLASS(SERVAUTH) ID(ADMIN_USER) ACCESS(UPDATE) WHEN(TIME(18:00-08:00))

Benefit: This ensures that the ADMIN_USER can only execute administrative commands outside of business hours, reducing the risk of accidental or malicious changes during critical operational times.

Use Case 2: Time-Limited Access for Temporary Users

Scenario: A contractor needs access to specific resources for a limited time period.

Example:

PERMIT EZB.INITSTACK.SYSA.TCPIP CLASS(SERVAUTH) ID(CONTRACTOR) ACCESS(READ) WHEN(TIME(09:00-17:00))

Benefit: The contractor can only access the project data during their working hours, ensuring that access is automatically revoked after hours, thus enhancing security.
