RELATED IDEAS

HMC asks for user and pasword verification due to weight or capping LPAR change

Whenever necessary to change Mainframe LPAR weight or capping attributes, let HMC asks for password confirmation as double check and as a way to keep track of changes

    No response from submitter so moving back to uncommitted candidate and will consider dual control as solution.

    There is a new feature, Dual Control, planned for future release. Dual Control adds an extra layer of security for critical tasks on the HMC. Tasks enabled for Dual Control will require another level of verification from an approver before they are run. Will this meet you need?
