This is the public portal for all IBM Z Hardware and Operating System related offerings. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

Beginning with IBM z16, the STP physical connection to the time servers (PTP or Network Time Protocol (NTP)) is no longer established through the HMC. The time servers are connected now directly to the CEC (bypasses the SE connection).
So each of the two redundant oscillator cards have an IP address on the RJ45 Port. For the external time source two different NTP server IP addresses are defined.
There are currently only two different panels available to check the configured ETS (e.g. NTP) addresses & the network configuration of the ETS-Ports:
for ETS addresses => Manage System Time
for ETS-Port network configuration => Customize Network Settings (STP/ETS Networks tab)
Our Idea or requierement is, that the whole STP configuration is displayed on the "Manage System Time" overview.
Furthermore this additional configurtion information should also be find in the "Export CTN data (.xlc)" EXCEL.
