Storage group: Total space Alert threshold% feature

With zOS 2.2, there is a new field added to storage group: Total Space Alert Threshold% which gives us alerting on console. I liked this feature, but when tested, seems the total space is being calculated for only ENABLED volumes and ignoring QUINEW or DISNEW volumes.

Can the feature be expanded to consider QUINEW volumes? QUINEW are kept for future allocations and helps in cases where there are large allocations. So, I believe, total space should consider ENABLED & QUINEW volumes.

I think we can ignore DISNEW, as no allocation can happen to them and there is no point in considering them as of now as well. Also, if ISMF panel updates Total space without DISNEW, that would also be beneficial.

I totally agree that the alert threshold that only computes ENABLED volumes falls short of the intended effectiveness of the alert feature. With that limitation, the alert is relatively useless. This needs to be remedied by including any volume status that is fair game for new allocations.
