Include IRRPRMXX parms in RVARY LIST output

Request to update the RVARY LIST command's output to include all possible parameters which could be specified in the PARMLIB(IRRPRMxx) RACF data set name table member. Currently, parms such as BUFFERS, UPDATEBACKUP are not in the output; thus user who employ IRRPRMxx have no way of truly knowing what settings are active at any time.

And because, in most multisyspem setups, users are required to perform a sysplex-level IPL to change IRRPRMxx settings, which is increasingly less convenient the modern availability requirements. Having this data available in a display can ease this process and aid in audit capabilities.

This wasn't as much an issue for the old LNKLST ICHRDSNT module since a module in linklib is easily displayable, but the modern, text-based parmlib member cannot be verified in such fashion.

This item is unlikely to be given high enough priority to be placed into the product plan.

Even after you?ve migrated to an IRRPRMxx member, the DSNT2PRM utility can be used to display the current in-storage DSNT by invoking DSNT2PRM with no parameters. The output will be in the format of an IRRPRMxx member (including settings such as BUFFERS and UPDATEBACKUP) and reflects the active values on the system. Does this satisfy your request?

Thank you for submitting this idea. Have you considered using the DSNT2PRM utility to display the in-storage DSNT? You can find it on the RACF downloads repository:
