SYSLOGD2 and TS7700/TS4500 incompatible

We need to implement Remote Logging for our IBM TS4500 and TS7700 Tape equipment and we are told that the SYSLOGD2 (USS Daemon) only supports the UDP protocol and the IBM TS7700 only supports the TCP protocol.

We need the z/OS SYSLOGD2 service to support both UDP and TCP protocols.

    This was delivered in z/OS 3.1 with "z/OS UNIX syslogd support for secure logging over TCP"

    This is a duplicate of RFE110035 "Update SYSLOGD to support sending data via TCP".
