SNA support of Hipersockets

Our customer runs Communication Server on z/Linux to communicate with z/OS VTAM.
Now, they connect Communications Server on z/Linux and VTAM on z/OS with OSA-Express card(SNA protocol).
But, they hope to connect with Hipersockets, but Hipersockets does not support SNA protocol.
To connect with Hipersockets, Hipersockets should support SNA protocol.

Thank you for your submission. At this time, our support position for native SNA is strictly one of maintaining, and not enhancing. Across the industry support for native SNA connectivity is being deprecated, and movement is toward solutions that encapsulate and transport SNA application data over an IP network. In light of the industry direction we encourage you to consider alternatives to use of OSE, such as Enterprise Extender with OSA and/or Hipersockets. We would be happy to engage with you on discussion of such alternatives, and can also provide you with a contact that performs such migrations as a service engagement. Moving this request to Declined status.
