This is the public portal for all IBM Z Hardware and Operating System related offerings. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Some vendors don´t have the option to sFTP files direct from their servers to mainframe environment. SMEs needs to download required data (from vendor web site) in their workstation and upload it using WINscp or any other vendor tool (license costs involved) to Mainframe OMVS as normal FTP no longer works with zMFA (multi factor authentication), as FTP from our computer has been affected by ZMFA, an option would be using z/OSMF features, and use UPLOAD option under Dataset and File Search.
zOSMF upload feature works very well, you can decide to upload it to OMVS or Dataset and it´s even simple, as you allocate the new file at the moment of the uploading (no need to pre allocate datasets or copy data from OMVS to dataset after uploading).
The road block is the pre defined size limit of 100 MB on zOSMF, level 2 has already informed it could be changed only via an RFE.
Is it possible to change this limit or disable it (temporary)? could it impact z/OSMF functionality or impact the environment somehow?

It would be nice to have a parameter in the z/OSMF-Config so the customer could set a limit.
